  Pamporovo is well known as the pearl of the Bulgarian ski and mountain resorts, providing excellent conditions for winter sports and year round recreation.  It is one of the oldest Bulgarian ski resorts, and in the recent years it has developed as a modern place, for spending a fantastic holiday.
  Many unique factors combine to make Pamporovo an ideal place for a ski or snowboarding vacation. Pamporovo is Bulgaria`s sunnest ski resort, there is an average of 120 sunny days throughout the ski season and the average snow cover is between 150-140sm.
  More skiers use the high-speed triple chair from the Ardashla area up to Snezhanka Peak, from where most runs start.
  The Wall is probably the most challenging terrain in Pamporovo. There is a special snowboard track serviced by two draglifts where tournaments are also held.

  Shiroka Luka
  Just 11km from Pamporovo, the architectural reserve of Shiroka Luka features distinctive 19th century houses in stunning settings. Around the end of February the town hosts the traditional Kukeri festival, which should be a must for all visitors to Bulgaria.
